Plans are underway for the 2010 NCSHRM State Conference.  The conference in partnership with the NCSHRM State Council is being hosted by TSHRM, the Triangle Society for Human Resource Management. On behalf of the executive planning committee and the 400+ TSHRM members, we are looking forward to providing you with a state-of-the-art conference experience.

Today’s economic challenges have caused us to really access our HR toolkits and provide the strategic focus and forward thinking our organizations need to remain sustainable.   “HR - Thinking Outside the Bowl” is our conference theme and it attests to the creative spirit, innovation and uniqueness our profession provides to our employees, companies and organizations on a day-to-day basis.  The 2010 NCSHRM State Conference will provide several opportunities to see, hear and experience ideas and concepts that are real time and futuristic and can be applied to our workforce and organization, as well as to further develop us as human resource professionals.  Mark your calendar now so you can be a part of the “out of the bowl” experience.

There is a lot of excitement as we are able to host the conference at the beautiful Sea Trail Golf Resort and Convention Center! The Resort has over 62,000 square feet of meeting and function space; clean and comfortable villa accommodations; 54 holes of championship golf; indoor heated pool, whirlpool and saunas; licensed massage therapists, spa wraps and paraffin treatments; and most importantly, five minutes from the beach.  So after the business of the day is conducted, there will be plenty of time to play! You may even want the family to come down before or after the conference as the resort will offer pre- and post- conference rates!
