KeyNote Speakers

Pamela J. Green is a champion for HR Professionals. A business leader herself for over 25 years, with 16 of those years spent leading Human Resources departments.  She pulls on these experiences in everything she sets her heart and mind to do - especially when conducting presentations and writing. Pam just published her first book, a career roadmap for human resource professionals on how to thrive as a 21st century HR Leader titled Lead, Achieve and Succeed in HR.

Before going into Association Management where she now serves as Vice President, for US Membership, for the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), Pamela served as the top HR Leader in organizations such HeadStart and the American Red Cross, and served as a business leader in a variety of roles in the healthcare field.  She also holds both a Bachelor’s Degree in Business and Human Resources and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from Franklin University in Columbus, Ohio where she was born and raised.

Pam considers herself a “dabbler” in social media, a “lightweight” blogger, and has she been quoted by local and national publications. Pamela has served the community in many capacities including serving on a host of boards and speaking across the country at national events. Now residing in the beautiful city of Bowie, Maryland she prefers to spend her down time with her husband, son and their pet Boxer, Sasha!

 

Scott Christopher is co-author of the best-selling The Levity Effect: Why It Pays to Lighten Up and Director of Speaking and Training at the O.C. Tanner Company.

He has appeared on NBC’s Today Show, Fox Business Channel, CNBC, National Public Radio, BBCand has been quoted in the New York Times, Washington Post, Boston Globe, New York Post, Newsweek,Economist magazine,Ladies Home Journaland many other publications. 

A contributing author of the bestseller A Carrot a Day, a regular columnist for Workplace HR magazine, and a consultant on strengthening work culture with recognition and fun, Scott travels the world speaking to leadership groups at conferences and on-site client meetings. He is a highly sought speaker at SHRM National conventions and has spoken at dozens of state and regional SHRM conferences. With a background in radio, television, and film, Scott’s presenting style is upbeat, witty, and unforgettable.

In his rare spare time, Scott is a professional voiceover artist, emcee and actor (SAG), appearing on network television series Everwood, Touched by an Angel and inDisney Channelmovies.

While an undergraduate at Brigham Young University, Scott was honored with the United States' most prestigious acting scholarship, theIrene Ryan Award, at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C.
